We have to hold power to account and make sure marginalized communities feel safe.

WHAT HE HAS SAID

  • Would work to protect every American's constitutional rights, no matter where they live, where their parents came from, how or whether they pray, who they love, their gender, age, or wealth.
  • Affirms freedom of speech, assembly, religion and from religion, and self-expression.
  • Calls the rights to criticize the government and to protest peacefully sacrosanct, and opposes weaponizing the state to intimidate protest or boycotts.
  • Believes healthcare decisions should always stay between an individual and their doctor, and that government cannot and should not interfere with the right to pursue healthcare choices.
