End the blank check

Gaza, Israel & military aid

El-Sayed opposes blank-check U.S. military funding abroad, supports an arms embargo on Israel, and says American tax dollars must not fund what he calls a genocide in Gaza.

That money should not be spent in a billion dollars a day killing other people's children. It should be spent providing for our own.

WHAT HE HAS SAID

  • Would work to end blank-check funding to foreign militaries, including Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and spend those tax dollars here on schools and health care.
  • Says U.S. tax dollars and American weapons are being used in a genocide in Gaza, in illegal West Bank and Jerusalem settlements, and in the attempted annexation of southern Lebanon. Says it has to end.
  • Supports immediate, comprehensive enforcement of U.S. laws that condition military aid and sales, an immediate arms embargo on Israel, and rejects the false distinction between “offensive” and “defensive” weapons.
